About Arts Acre Foundation
ArtsAcre Museum is one of its kindsprivately funded Art Museum in India in terms of scope and scale. The 40.000 square feet of permanent museum space is divided into six spacious, carefully lit galleries, namely, Bengal Modern Art – Pioneers, Bengal Modern Art – Masters, Bengal Contemporary Art, Bengal Water Color, Indian Contemporary Art, Gallery Bangladesh and Shuttle Gallery. Our meticulously curated and chronologically arranged galleries give the viewer ease of understanding and in following the changing artistic trends and techniques through the years. It includes traditional art forms, group movements and works from pioneering stalwarts to new breeds of artists.
Our Museum currently has in its possession more than 700 artworks. Arguably, the most important body of Bengal Modern Art under one roof.
